About 50s / 60s Era
By the end of WWII, with the influence of Radio, many music styles thrived, and 1950s was an important era in music development. At the first half of 1590s, classical pop music was the dominant while rock and roll flourished at the second half, and between the two, there were other styles that were taking their position in society and gain fame such as country, folk, blues music and other kinds. With the coming of 1960s, with social and political changes, it was automatic that music would see changes too, as music is always a reflection of society. If for instance, Buddy Holly and Elvis Presley started rock & roll, it was under the hands and talents of bands such the Rolling stones and Beatles that this genre was perfected. And for soul music, it was Motown and Stax Records that marked its real flourish. And when it comes to jazz, the real evolvement was with Miles Davis. So, if many music styles seen the birth in 1950s, they have seen the real development in 1960s, and these two eras marked music as we hear it today.
