Eli Young Band celebrated “Even if It Breaks Your Heart” with co-writers

Monday afternoon, the 2 major performance rights organizations, ASCAP and BMI, celebrates “Even if It Breaks Your Heart” at the Country Music Association office in Nashville.
“Even if It Breaks Your Heart” is the song recorded by Eli Young Band, and co-written by Eric Paslay and Will Hoge. Though the song was recorded in 2009 by Hoge on his CD called The Wreckage, but it didn’t receive its reputation until Eli Young Band’s made their version of the song.
Will Hoge said that Eli Young Band “made it [the song] an anthem.”
